Remember in grade school when you’d learn about historical events on a timeline? Create your own’ life time line’ with your goals!

Now, at one end of the life time line of yours is going to be when you were born, and the other will be where your life ends. Start at the beginning, if you were born.

Over the course of the life of yours, things happened. Several of the things that happened stood out to you and shifted the way your life went. Some big things happened, whether they were great accomplishments, or maybe a change in careers, fill in the fundamental things that happened in the life of yours that you think shifted your life in some way. Fill in those events up until the current time.

Now you have all this time left. What does one would like to have happen between now and the end of your life? Whatever your big goals are, think about when you want those to happen and fill in the remainder of your life time line. The life time line of yours is now full and you are able to frame or perhaps post it wherever you are able to see it very often. It will serve as a reminder and motivator to you, helping you to achieve your life goals.

Now, you are able to create a year goal planner to post on the wall near your life time line. Make much box (you might need a larger piece of paper, some poster board, or several pieces of paper taped together). The package is a supplementary long rectangle with a box for each month of the entire year. Inside each month for the next year, write in your goal(s) for that month. Now you’ve your monthly calendar!

At the beginning of each week, write down the goals of yours for the week. Keep that posted in your goal place by the life of yours and year goals.

Every night, write out your goals for the following day. Post them also exactly where each of the rest of your targets are. This can be an unique wall, bulletin board, or even space in the room of yours (maybe even a mirror).

For me personally, I reach my goals much better when I use the aforementioned techniques, and don’t tell anybody else except maybe a good friend. You have to determine the things that work best for yourself and go with it.
